Still HOPE for 2010 M3 CSL Production!

According to Edmunds the m3 CSL might come into production, they even said that they have seen the CSL's test driving around! Even though German development cheif denied the CSL, edmunds reckons that the CSL might come out to keep up with the upcoming Audi Rs5.

I don't know about the appearance of the CSL though

. That better be a photoshop of the CSL because it looks terrible, that hole just seems way out of place, other than that it looks pretty nice.

thats photoshopped for sure.
Look at the white line through the middle of the bonnet, theres no bump.
I hope it doesnt look like that.
CF hood would kinda look sick though.

actually if u read the article, there is no hope:
"It's deeply ironic that BMW is passing on the lightweight CSL for heavyweight crossovers."

The CSL has been ended. I suspect that BMW may still put out a limited edition, like a Competition Package (ZCP) or a Lightweight (LTW) option. Or, a Coupe Sport (CS) option.

all i know is that BMW seriously really needs to step up its game man, BMW till the day i die but look at the C63 or Mercedez in general, and look at the audi, in terms of power BMW needs to step up.

According to a BMW insider, the idea hasnt completely been canned and there is still development underway for an M3 CSL. Also mentioned that if it does go into production, the M3 CSL will be the first ever BMW to feature some revolutionary new technology called (K.E.R.S - Kinetic energy regeneration s*omething). So it is still in the pipeline. Even if we do see a CSL, its still faaaaaar away. It will only be introduced towards the end of the E92's lifespan.

seriously what's up with you and horsepower, that doesn't necessarily means that it's better. On track the m3 still beats the c63.
