The damn thing replaces a part of the charge piping like an MAF replaces charge piping. Pretty crazy. It probably works better than normal BOVs because it let's all air going back to the turbo escape (I assume because when it works it's like a piece of charge pipe falling off), rather than hoping all the air can escape through a little hole through the side of a charge pipe the way most BOVs are routed.

![]() How much you charging for one of those bad boys? Sounds like there needs to be more R&D to make sure the seal is 100% secure though. Have you tested the psi on the seal? Does it beat 100psi?

I tested it with an air compressor at 100 psi and nothing blew out so I figured I was past anything most people would run. As long as the are installed on a decent piece of pipe (not on a cut bend) thay seem to work fine. I've sold lots of these valves and the only thing I ever did as far as warranty was send a guy some new O rings which are 20 cents a piece. I usually sell them for $200 but to be honest I spend most of my time making the CNC'd Billet manifolds so I haven't really pushed these. I just thought you guys might get a kick out of it. |
