there are aftermarket LED tails, but the light pattern is iffy at best and the inside panel isnt a clean OEM look and the wiring is exposed instead of covered behind a nice lighted panel....can it be modified? yes, but only if you are a talented DIY person.

Hi, i have read your answers on M3 suspensions starting post 11 and 317 - but it would be really helpful for me to know is there any technical difference that will make it impossible to use m3 springs on a e46 coupe?

I'm asking because I need stiffer springs, because i have a TS setup + a cast iron block adding up to 50 kg to the front axle load. My current springs cannot cope under spirited driving and my choice is to go with 330diesel springs (front axle load 1030) or M3 springs if they can be used at all. I'm partial to Eibach and would buy their spring set for either 330d or m3.

Your help would be greatly appreciated, again :o)

I bought an entire E46m3 rear assembly...

I figured I would post here first...I may make a thread on the conversion once I get it finished... Probably be a month or so.

What you get!
3.64 gear set with LSD!
Big brakes for the rear

be careful about not throwing off your brake-bias when you put those larger brakes on in the rear.

does anyone know if the armrests in the door of the M3 fit the 330i ZHP sedan? I'd love to add those aluminum trimmed armrests into the ZHP

Doubt it, since the coupe doors are longer and the shape of the armrest is different. They are interchangeable between M and non-M coupes, though.

I have ALCON four pistons on front already, its fine I checked. I also have a E46M3 Master cyclinder coming.

Main reason is so when I put the LS1/T56 in next year it won't destroy the diff. An E46M3 rear will handle 500+rwhp...

Well, I know the M3 doors are longer, but it's not like the M3 armrests run the length of the door like in the sedans. So they seem like they would fit.

Hope somone could help. I converted my BMW 330i guages to M3 guages. Everything works except my stepronic gear indicator (i didnt expect it to work) and more importantly the traction control is turned completely off!
how do i fix?

How did you get around the "tamper dot" showing instead of your correct mileage?
