+1 for solid motor...
my old E30 had over 300k miles, no rebuild. odometer gears broke at 280k, and I've driving cross country and cross state several times since then, so I'm pretty sure it was over 300k (closer to 320ish). No oil leaks, used Amsoil 10w40, had it chipped, and auto-x'd it as well. :-) very fun cars.
