Just Happened

i never had an intention to purchase a BMW. Drove past a local used car lot and saw a Silver 02 330ci parked out front, u-turn, looked and bought it. Guy asked me if i wanted to Test Drive It. Told him "i would on the way home".
3 days later i had someone go back there and pick up my Truck.
"Just Happened" and have put 19K miles on it in 2 months. What a Car.

I read in the newspaper that they were going to start charging 25 ($50) per day to drive into Central London if you had a car above X emissions. The law was going to apply to all cars made after 2001, and any above 3 litres if it was from before 2001, so I plugged 'made before 2001, engine less than 3 litres and convertible' into the car search to see what I could get (just out of curiosity).

My BMW came up in the search results among a bunch of old shape Mercedes SLs, small cars etc, so I went to see it that evening and bought it on the spot.

I didn't even own a car before that (I used to have cars a few years ago but not since I lived in Central London). It was a complete impulse buy!

Handling. Although after driving a full-size GMC pickup for 6 years, any car would probably handle like a Lotus Elise.

55 and zero one-thousandths of a dollar? Dollars by themselves without cents are separated by commas, not decimals, so $55,000.

Unless you're suggesting you got your BMW for $55, in which case is probably the cheapest car ever!

Name & reliability. As far as looks & performance there are far better looking & performing autos...Corvettes, Vipers, 1969 Camaro, 1967 Mustang, Ferrari
