hahaha jon and myself own this subforum

anyways, most of you guys are on point...

nish, tell your buddy to save his time, money, and a massive emo headache and dump her.

the only reason any guy ever has to hire a PI is if he and the girl are married, he knows for sure that something is going on, and he plans on divorcing her and the evidence that the PI uncovers will help him in some way in court.

but if he has already considered the extreme of hiring a private investigator to find out of his girl is cheating on him, the trust that was there before is no longer existent, if the PI does find something out, the relationship will be done (or it will be if he has balls), if he doesnt find anything, he will never forget that he has lost trust in her at one point, and sooner or later it will resurface for the smallest of reasons and sooner or later, the relationship will be hurt once again because of it. trust is the single most important aspect of a relationship, that, communication, and honesty make up the very core of any healthy relationship.

i understand that hes in a tough spot, he can let it be and constantly let this feeling eat away at him (which is not pretty) or he can hire the PI and have him confirm his suspicions, or tell him that nothing is going on and keep the relationship alive with the feeling of mistrust tucked in the back of his mind. think of it as a car with a salvage title, the wreck represents the mistrust, and even though you try painting over it and patching it up, it will never be the same as it once was, and in most cases, "old wounds" will resurface sooner or later, and the relationship will crumble.

at the risk of sounding pesemistic, his relationship is like a race horse with a wounded leg, it can either be put down now or you can prolong it and have to deal with putting it down later

also, this behavior with her will be a sign of things to come, if she can show that type of disregard towards your feelings and your TRUST, it will only get progressively worse if you put up with it because she will see that she can get away with it.

id say being treated like that by her, with such a disregard towards your feelings and trust and giving you a reason to think shes cheating is just as bad as if she was actually cheating on you

bottom line.

tell him to do himself a favor and drop her quick, walk away from the situation with his head up instead of being walked all over by some skank

Hide a GPS in her car, then track where she has been. I had a co-worker who did that on his wife. He knew exactly where she went. The time and how long. He caught her at the guy's house.
It will save on a P.I. But dump her, it is not worth the heartache and time wasted thinking about her.
