BMW X1-Concept-

I was doing some surfing and stumbled upon this video of the BMW x1 concept. Thoughts? Comments?

http://www.autoblog.com/2008/09/26/v...p-hop-wannabe/

Rocking graffiti styles we haven't seen on the street since the late 90s, BMW has put out a 40-second teaser video of a covered X1 Concept being unloaded from an enclosed trailer ahead of its debut next week at the Paris Motor Show. Our skateboarding, urban protagonist tags the letters "M," "C" and "X", using each letter to spell out some lofty buzz words about the X1's desired demographic, simultaneously stoking our curiosity and leaving us shaking our heads. Check the video after the break and stay tuned on Thursday for the official reveal, live from Paris.

i don't know why car companies try so hard to appeal to the younger demographic, cuz what always end up happening is that those cars end up appealing more to the 50+ year olds.

What the hell is going on with BMW???

They scrap the e92 CSL project, saying they want to concentrate on high performance SUV's, like M-powered X5's and possibly X6's as there isn't enough demand for the csl... uh wtf?? and there's going to be a huge demand for a M-X5? Probably ...

Then they announce they are going to be phasing out v8's and the inline6, which we I'm sure would all agree is one of the world's greatest engines [and err winner of countless Engine of the Year Awards, BMW!] I just hope this is'nt a final decision, otherwise I am afraid BMW have just thrown in the towel on the greatest vehicle rivalry to Audi and MB.

Then they bring out this cr*p! ... I know it's only a concept but still I can't help but think that BMW has lost the plot and that other German car manufacturer Audi are on it, look at the majority of what they're producing, now I'm not saying they make better cars but to me their philosophy is what BMW was and it's really sad.

So err no I think it looks like the dogs balls...

My 2cents..
