I've long wondered what it would take to go electric with my 330. Maybe some of the answers can be found here...

I'd be curious to know what components are compatible. I don't need to go 150 miles, I only need to go 40 max for my daily commute. I'd sacrifice some distance for performance and energy savings by using less batteries. Unfortunately the cost can't be justified, but I would offset some costs by DIY as much as possible. The ideal candidate is a car with no motor.

I don't think it's a sensible option. This might mean changing the entire driving mechanism, which ain't cheap.
