325CI Heating Problem

Hey, so I have a 2002 325CI with barely 80k miles, the AC works AMAZINGLY well during the day (temps outside 80+ degrees) but in the mornings, when the temperature is around 55-60, the heat (on 91 degrees) even once the car heats up isn't hot. It worked a while back and recently, whenever I turned the heat on, the low coolant light would come on until about a minute after the heat was turned off. I filled the coolant up and this is what happened. Any ideas? Thanks guys.

Well...start with the basics...is the center dial between the center vents moved to the "hot" position? (Three red dots)...

Does the coolant system need to be "bled" for an air pocket/

Yes, everything is moved to "hot". I turn off the snow symbol on my AC control and turn it all the way to 91. I'm not sure if that needs to be done or not.... That's why I posted this to see if anyone else ever had the same problem

im thinking maybe some sort of coolant temperature sensor like thermostat?

the thermostat was replaced brand new and that solved nothing. My car doesn't overheat so I don't really think the thermostat would be faulty...

bump. It started working randomly on the road it began to work again then cut itself off. I replaced my thermostat but traveling at highway speeds my car cools down to just above the 1/4 mark. I bled my coolant twice and seems that air keeps appearing. Could there just be that much air or is there some way air is leaking in or is my new thermostat broken as well?
