Recipes!!
It's getting cold outside now and usually the best time of the year for chili ![]() SO if you got a good chili recipe post it up hopefully this thread doesn't fail too quick.. and go |

tex-mex chili*
a. 1 1/2 med onions, chopped b. 1 small clove of garlic, minced c. 1/2 jalapeno, chopped d. 3 tblsp oil e. 4 lbs ground beef f. 8 tblsp chili powder (big jar) g. 1 tblsp cumen h. 2 tsp garlic salt i. 1/4 tsp tabasco j. 1 can beer k. 1/4 cup water l. 14. oz can stewed tomatoes, blended m. 8 oz. can tomato sauce n. 6 oz. can tomato paste o. 4 oz. can diced green chili 1. sautee abc in d until a is clear 2. Add e, cook until brown 3. Drain fat. 4. combine fghi with salt & pepper and j in bowl, let stand 2 minutes 5. add step 4 and klmno to meat 6. simmer covered on low heat for 3 hours, stir every 30 minutes *can be served with rice or cornbread

My dad just made a pot of the best chili the other day. I should have taken a picture for you guys. It had mushrooms, onions, beans, beef, and more and more...god it was good.

Believe it or not, the chili costco sells in a can tastes really really good. Can't think of the name.
