Need Amp Help..

Hey Everybody.

Im new to shopping for ICE and needed help and had a couple of questions. Any help would be appreciated.

1) What kind of amp would i need to power 1 12" Pioneer sub (TS-W3041DVC, if that helps.)?

2) Can someone please explain to me how amps work exactly. I mean, how should i be able to determine which amp best suits a particular sub?

3) Would i need another amp to power a set of 4 5" speakers or could i use the same amp that i would be using for the sub?

Thanks for your help!

usually u determine what amp to get by looking at how much power the subwoofer can handle..

also an ideal setup would be a monoblock (1 channel) amp powering the subwoofer and another amp powering your component speakers..

sorry for not being too specific but u'll get the general idea.
