Do 2003 sedans with nav have crossovers that go from the nav unit to the speakers? I guess my real question is that if I buy some speakers to replace the 5 1/4" mids in my front doors, and the replacements have crossovers and tweeters in them, will the tweeters be receiving the higher frequencies? Would that be the best way to improve highs in my car? That is my problem, the sound seems to muggy. I want the sound to be cleaner. Please don't flame me if I said anything retarded, I'm a newbie when it comes to ICE. Thanks in advance

I think the consensus is that if you're going to buy new speakers, then you should buy a new amp. The factory amp has built-in crossovers.

thanks. If I replace the factory tweeters, will there be a very noticeable difference?

I'm sure it would help, but I really can't say how much. The factory system is lacking in so many ways so just about any change will be an improvement. I don't know how much money you're looking to spend or what your requirements are.
