My Ride: 2001 325Ci
Hello from Burbank, CA

Hi all,

I just recently purchased a 325Ci as a second car, and wanted to do some light tuning mods to it. So far, I'm in for Shadowline Trim, Black out Kidneys and I have some 19" CSL's going on next week. Have some body work and paint touch-ups to do as well. I'll post pix next week.

Just wanted to say that this forum has been a great resource and inspiration. I may find myself with angel eyes and LED tail lights before this is over.

Best to all,
Zuur

Hi. Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm located over by the airport in Burbank. Yeah, I know that this car is gonna cost me some $$$ before I'm happy, but I've always loved BMW's, and just had to have one again. Looking forward to having fun. There are so many great cars on this site, that it's kinda overwhelming when I start thinking about all the cool stuff that can be done. A step at a time... a step at a time.

Thanks again,
Zuur

Cool. Like 10 minutes from me, near the Empire Center right?

Yeeeeeah the car is gonna cost you a lot once you start modding. I didn't mod my E92 because it's a lease and going back soon, but I'm spending lots of money on my E30 because I keep thinking "ok if I'm gonna get a europlate, I'm gonna have to smoke my turn signals, and to do that I need to get wheels, then I need a drop, tint, so on."

Okay, the CSL's went on today. Man, what a complete transformation of the car. I'm gonna get it washed and take some pix tomorrow. Next up, new interior trim, or maybe those LED tails lights and clear markers. So many choices. Oh, BTW, I was looking at the DICE kit, but holding off because I have the 3G iPhone, and the connector wouldn't charge it. However, just got an email from Bavarian Soundworks, and they say that the kit now supports 3G charging, so I may have to add this to the Xmas list.
