My Ride: 2004 BMW 325i
Hi from the NORTHWEST

hey everyone,

i have just registered on this site, and it is great
my name is peter, i drive a 2004 BMW 325i, i purchased it last november, a year from now, and it is great, throughout the year i been in college finishing up my AA in computer science engineering, i actually just got done and will be graduating next month.

the day i got her:

my 2007 gsx-r600 and my 325i

Anyways, i have many plans for this car, everything is very spendy though, unlike my toyota before, but i have a good and nice paying job, and alot of free time to myself now, which i used to do before i wasnt in school, i was actually in the TOYOTA forums, but now i fell in love with the 325i.

What I have done in the car so far is a SOUND SYSTEM SETUP:All ALPINE for me, it sounds great! for this audio setup that i have in the car put me closed to 1600$ + HARDWARES

-Alpine CDE-9874 - will be upgrading to a dvd/navigation system soon though
-Alpine SPR-17S component door speakers
-Alpine MRP-M1000 class d mono moseft amp w/ adjustable crossover
-Alpine SWR-1042D -2x10" Type R subwoofer

...Also the day i registered is what i thought was the day my RIMS were going to arrive, so i can introduce myself, but i have to wait until this upcoming wednesday for them to arrive and put in, this are actually my GRADUATION PRESENT TO MYSELF, THE WHEELS ARE "BEYERN-MESH" SILVER WITH THE CHROME LIP, i purchased it through LES SCHWAB $1719 all together, they are 18x9.5" and 18x8.5" staggered, i noticed that beyern mesh wheels are pretty popular for bmw's? i was going to go with the 19" but i think they were going to be a little too big for the 325i, but 18"s is actually okay with me, i havent really searched the forum yet, but is there anyone here with a BEYERN MESH WHEELS on their ride on a e46 4door? can i see? thanks

...once the wheel is put-in this wednesday in two days, i will know the diameter of how low im going to drop the my car, any suggestions on springs? i wanna go with coilovers, but springs should be okay? i keep looking at TEIN stech 1.5front and 0.9 rear, well once i get the wheels put in, i will be looking for springs next...this should be all in, in the upcoming month, will keep everyone posted...

sorry for the long introduction, i am here to meet great people who has many knowledge about bmw's, which i want to learn about more!

throughout the year, the plan for my car will be a bodykit, but i havent looked into that yet, what are good looking for the 325i?
and when im done with the exterior, i will be focusing on the engine, would to put in a supercharge, if there is a make for this 325i?

well thanks everyone, this is a very great site, alot of very nice BMW's to see

Welcome to the site

Nice ICE setup you have there! As for your drop, springs are okay but coilovers will be a better investment in the long run.

For the body kit, you can go with the OEM Mtech kit or mix and match with M3 or CSL front bumpers. Check out the Showroom section to give yourself a visual and ideas.

Let me know if you need anything or Qs. We are here to help
