brown rice ideas

anyone know of anythng I can do to this bland crap to make it taste better. Keep in mind healthy too. Trying not to add much butter or salt.

I am a filipino and like the brown and white rice. Brown rice is expensive thats why I eat white rice.

I'm on the P90X diet...I make my brown rice with low sodium chicken broth, finely chopped mushrooms and some chopped fresh parsely (about half a teaspoon)

Add some soy-sauce and/or chili-sauce for taste. that's what i do if we have a rice as a side dish.

I put this concoction called "Texas Dust" on mine. My neighbor gave me some and I freaking love it. You might be able to find the recipe via google, but I can't find it here at work. I know it has chili powder, cayenne pepper, and a bunch of other stuff in it. Of course it is spicy!

try this with either brown or white.

in a rice cooker instead of plain water, use chicken broth, a knob of butter, salt/pepper, and a clove or two of garlic.

it's great, i make it at least twice a week and can go with any nice grilled chicken or fish dish.
