Not your average Basmati.

Just a quick one that I like to do, is add one 12oz tin of coconut milk into the pot when cooking basmati rice.

It gives the rice a really nice flavour boost.

there's a Jamaican dish called Rice and Peas. it's really rice with pinto beans. anyway it has coconut milk in it and people always go nuts over it when i make it.

actually i have a really easy rice-cooker version if anyone is interested. it looks kinda like this...

I actually use a lot of bamboo shoots and coconut milk when cooking.
I love indian cuisine and tasty curries!!!
