RESET adaptation values DME with carsoft

The "Special Functions" menu of Carsoft has the ability to erase DME adaptation values, but I have never attempted to utilise that function,

no problem to do this??????

i have to change my MDK trohttle valve switch, i must do it, i see in the forum:

Switch the ignition off for 30 seconds.
• Turn on the ignition and delete the DME adaptations and the fault code
memory
• Press the accelerator pedal to wide open throttle(WOT)4 times

no problem after if i do a reset values adaptation DME in my car??

It should do no harm at all. Providing there is nothing wrong with your car and its not 'adapted' in a severe way (big LTFT etc) then you shouldnt notice any difference. If the adaptations it has stored are required for your car to run properly then it will run a bit strange till it redapts, but thats like a day or two at the most.

Just one question..

i changed my o2 pre cat , ..it' s not a bmw O2part...i do a error code reset, but it appears again...

Do i need to do the a reset adaptation values to my DME??

Could be a bad 02 sensor again could be something else did you just replace it because of the code or did you do some testing of it?

No adaptations have nothing to do with your code.

new does not mean good cheap part cheap results. I really think you need to do some testing. What are your 02 sensor voltages can you drive it lean and watch the voltage drop can you make it rich and watch the voltage increase?

is it necessary to do a reset values adaptation of dme..(there are anything wrong to do this?)

No dapation should be neccery when replacing only the TPS. What you are looking for is the voltage readings of the o2 sensors(may be called lamda sensors) Creat a vacuum leak the sensor should respond and drop .15 volts. Them make it rich by inducing propane in the intake the sensor should move rich .75 volts or higher
