Where can i get amber turn signal bulbs?

It sounds stupid, but I went to many of the local parts store(L.A.) and can't found an amber bulbs(I am going to perform DIY silvervision)...Please help!

That's weird...any auto store would have them.....

Just goto the dealership then.....only a buck or two each...still cheaper than silvervisions...

but I live kinda far away from anyone of the BMW dealer...

I have one set that comes w/ the Clear f/r lences, but I just want to start my DYI silvervision w/ a new set of bulbs!

Any dealer will have them...

my dealer usually just gives them to me for free. I think they are about a $1.00 if you purchase them.

I am going to perform DIY silvervision

this may sound stupid, what is the DIY silvervision? and does it work well? I was thinking about buying silvervison bulbs.

DIY Silvervisions: removing the "egg-yolk" appearance from your front, sidemarkers, and tail lights.

If you have what people call "clears" on your car and have the amber light bulbs, it's just a process of painting the amber bulbs into a silver finish.

Process (assuming you already have amber bulbs):

1. Home Depot or Lowes - get a can of Rustoleum High Heat silver spray paint ($4.99).

2. Apply light coats of the paint to the amber bulb(s). Don't over apply - a light silver coat is enough.

It works just fine. Just don't over coat the bulbs (so as to not let the amber bulbs blink through the clears).
