2 Cars detailed today.

So, today in school my teacher finally decided to put me on his Mustang to be wetsanded and buffed. He had primer overspray.. on the Left quarter and top of decklid.. So I went to work. I go to school for auto repair btw...
Wetsanded with 1500.. then polished, glazed, waxed.
First off, here's the supplies used.

What it looked like after wetsanding...

And all done.

And at home, I decided my FX needed a wash.. Rain+No garage+Jet Black
Anyway here goes, just washed and waxed. Picked up a sheep skin wash mitt at wal-mart as well.
Before-TERRIBLE SHAPE, I know.. got behind on washing her somehow.

No pics of the wash.. Pretty basic.. But here's some of the wax... during and after.

A nice half/half

Done!

You might want to go from 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000 when wet sanding so the sanding marks are easier to remove.

Yea but in school the highest grit we carry is 1500.. And occasionally 2000.. But I had no problem with going from 1500..
