Though I don't have the strip on the front windshield, I'm thinking about getting one done. It makes me squint less on a particularly sunny day (I don't sport sunglasses often--perhaps I should). I notice that when when pull the visor down, it helps (even if the sun is coming from the back and not directly in front).

This is about a 20% on my car. It looks dark as hell because I have the black interior. People think its darker than what it is because you only look at the black seats inside but if I put something light colored on the seat you can see it clearly if your looking in the windows.

Window tint usually only comes in a few shades, 5%, 20%, 35% and 50%. Now according to the manufacturer and if it is metallic, etc, there may be a little variance here and there, so the numbers may stray slightly.
In the past, I always went as dark as possible, on my Camaro, 300ZX TT, and Acura I went 5% all around and 35% on the entire front windshield. I received way too much attention from the police and was pulled over more than I wanted to be.
I am still illegal now, but a little lighter. I have 20% all around, and 35% on the entire front windshield, and of course, black interior, but that was the same on all of my previous cars.

Arrow i think that's a little too dark for me

i just want a little privacy, some uv protection, and some good looks. i think the 20's should suffice.
