Detailed 330ci and Bell 412 helicopter

With all the snow coming down in NY last night I took the time to at least get the raod salt and crap off my 05 330ci.
The car:

Real good warm water rinse
Mothers car wash and sheep wool mit
Used a claybar on the hood for a smoother surface, mothers quick detaier.
Menzerna Po85 polish
Nice and rub with microfiber cloths for removal.
Tried the new Meguiars NXT 2.0 paste wax, not bad but mothers california gold liquid is still my favorite.
Had rub with microfiber for removal of wax.
THe wheels get a harsher treatment of dawn dishwashing soap an a soft brush. Real good warm to hot rinse. They were painted 4 months ago and look new when cleaned. The a quick detailer on the rims for a minimal
protective layer.

Obviously a more involved detail is in order as soon as this crap weather leaves. And when my shift was done, drove it ouit into the snow and salty roads. oh well, looks better than it did, and looks awesome in the hangar next the our 412EP

The heli:
a good rinse after a compressor wash

Jet foam soap at 80 PSI from aviall 30 % mix

Good soft brstle brush scrub

The tail got some collinite 840 pre cleaner (awesome stuff) for the jet exhaust carbon.

Those parts were also given an 845 collinite treatment.

Perfecto!
