engine was wiped down with Meguiars APC diluted 4:1 with water.
All polished metal was polished using Adams metal polish 1
then all the plastics where treated with Chemical guys - High shine spray dressing and Chemical Guys fade 2 black.

After treating the engine, I started it and let it idle for a few minutes, just to get everything warmed up and cured nicely.
