Fuel Mix too Lean

hey all,

my check engine light came on and i had it looked at. o2 sensor is throwing a fuel mix too lean sensor. mechanic said it only threw it once and reset it for me and said we would worry about it if it happened again. what might cause that and what would be the fix.

You should chech for any rips or cuts in the intake boots that are after the maf sensor. If there is any way for air to get into those you will get a lean fuel situation. Check those first since thier the easiest to replace and most cost effective.
