My Ride: 03' BMW 330xi
Exhaust...Bare with me

Alright so... Unfortunately, I was in for a surprise when I figured out that installing headers on my 330xi is a much more difficult process than expected because of the front axle. Therefore I will not be putting on headers until I can get my buddy back in town to help me out since I'm not the auto guru like he is....I dont have the money to have someone install them.

Regardless I really want to do some work to my stock exhaust setup. Money is a limited resource... and I want to just clarify which setup will give me a non-raspy note that is free flowing. I did the golf tee mod, but I really don't think its working the way it should... Anyways. After some research:

1) Glasspack exhaust (Kpeng Style)?
2) Straight Pipes? With or without Res delete?
3) Magnaflow muffler and Second Res delete?

I know its kinda lame to want to turn heads when your cruising down the road... but in all honestly who wouldn't want someone to notice your E46.

I also would like to eliminate drone as much as possible.

There is a sale going on at the local Muffler Man... and even though I know they do work on Ford Escorts all day... half off on "exhaust" is something hard to pass up. Especially when they sell Magnaflow. You may ask yourself why I didn't have Muffler man put on my headers.... well, for one I sold my headers because I wanted to tint out my car. and 2 I don't want muffler man taking my axle apart, id feel uncomfortable. But I don't mind them dealing with my exhaust.

Sorry for the but I could really use some experienced help, and thats what the forums are for right?
