Question Sound System Upgrade Help Needed...

Okie Dokie, so i bought a box from a friend which has two 10's two tweeters, and two mids in them, and i need an amp to power them..
but my question was, where would the amp hook up and how, and will it work with my stock head unit?
P.S. I have the non-HK standard system..
TIA

Send a message via AIM to MCD007
Intercept the head unit signal going to the factory amp. From there use a balanced differential line converter and thus you will have a low level rca signal that you can plug into your new amp.

You want to buy my amp?

I will sell it to you for 375. It is a phoenix gold Tantrum 300x2 plenty of power and really clean signal.

You need and amp with "balanced differential inputs" like the ads or jl amps. There may be other amps that support this that others here know of (I am interested myself).

Otherwise you can get an amp with speaker inputs and take the speaker wires from the oem amp in the boot but you will lose quality.
