He thinks you'd have to have a sub-harness to go from the computer to the shifter. Everything else should be the same.

okay so the tranny mounts are the same for m54 and m52 engines? didnt know that. awesome. i will do some searching and let you know asap. sounds like a heck of a deal you got here though

i doubt it will fit the e30 but i could def be wrong. is your 328 a manual?

I think you missed the point. People (like me) do $hit with E30s because they can. It's fun to try stuff. Who has a step in their E30? NO ONE. Who'd want to have one? Well, maybe that's no one too
