Where should i get singal for my subs

ok what is the finally decision?
I have read before the sub amp,
i have read before the main amp(from the headunit)
i have read after the sub amp,

SO i have to ask where shoudl i pick up the signal for my sub
I am putting ina kicker 600.1 amp and a S12L7 solobaric incase it matters

OH yea i am using an Hi/Low Speakerwire to RCA converter incase it matters....

Also can you tell me which wires to be using in that locaiton

Just take the plus and minus wires from the Sub and connect them to your new sub. Then get rid of the HK sub speaker...
