Thumbs Up Dealer DME update

I brought my car to my local dealer to have my the DME flashed back to stock for emissions purposes. The procedure went off without a hitch. The service person gave me sheet of paper stating the following:

1.Program DME/DDE - Old part no. progr. ctrl mod. 7837937
New part no. progr. ctrl mod. 7842557

My question is, have there been any software revisions for the E46 M3 since the 2006 emissions update? If so, is there some way to find out what was addressed in each new revision?

The paper also states that my DME/DDE can still be programmed 10 times.
