Depo P46's just installed question
I just installed the Depo's P46s and there is some moisture in the headlights. How do I get the moisture out? Also, How do adjust the lights so I'm not blinding on coming traffic?

remove the front lens...its held in by tabs that you have to lift up and pull it off...i believe there is 8 tabs to lift and then it pops out to remove moisture....to level them there should be a plastic screw you can turn with a phillips screwdriver....park your car about 20 feet away facing a wall and turn the screw until its about level

One trick to make sure the lights are level is to pull forward (towards the wall) slowly and see if the light moves. If the beam moves down the wall, they are angled up, if it moves up, they are angled low. Keep trying that until the 'cut' doesn't move up or down the wall, or at least until its close

+2 to what these guys said. when you have the lens unclipped, theres a rubber seal that runs around the headlight unit itself, get a heat gun or hair dryer and heat it up the seal a bit to soften it then put the lens back on and you'll be good to go

Also when you have the lenses off, make sure none of the lense guides have been bent across the rubber seal. Happened to me, see bottom right corner of pic. I bent it back and it fixed my fogging issues.

Alright, just did everything you guys suggested and there is still moisture. Are the bulbs not in tight enough? Help.

don't know, but it is pissing me off. It is not as much moisture as before, mostly near the bottom of the lens.

i get moister in my left p46 from time to time. Its usually because the weather stripping is not seated right on the plastic. Heat it up or glue it. However you want to have it stick on.

Not to be a smartass, but did you make sure the moisture was out of the headlight assembly before putting it back together? I made that mistake on some taillights from an old car--I felt like a moron...

yes, first thing I did was remove the moisture. I was told 2 things I can do is:
Drill a tiny hole at the bottom of the light or make the existing vent holes bigger.

I don't recommend drilling into the headlights, the problem is that there is an open seal on your headlight somewhere. Make sure the rubber boots on the back of the headlight are 100% secure.

I figured that drilling was a bad idea, I'll check all the seals again.
