Halogen Angel Eye question

I have the Depo projector Headlights with Halogen Angel Eyes, the Angel Eyes seem dim. They are connected to my Battery and my ECU and they're not that bright. Is there any other way to connect them or are they as bright as they can be? How can I find out if they can get brighter?

that's as bright they will get. Just upgrade them to LED's if you want bright angel eyes.

That's what I thought. I will roll with these for a while and maybe in the summer get LED> Thanks.

What do you mean by halogen? CCFL DDEs can be plenty bright.

p46s come with halogen angels (lit by 194 bulbs) and yes, they are very dim. ur better off upgrading to ccfl or if u want them to be bright then leds

yeah, they can be, but not the ones that come on DEPO headlights. I have a couple of friends that have DEPO headlights with angel eyes already in them, and they are not as bright as my CCFL's.

My P46's came with CCFL DDEs, bought over four years ago I didn't think any P46s even came with the "Gen V" style DDEs.

Actually the DEPO units come "stock" with halogen 194 bulbs that power the rings. We remove these and custom install CCFL or LED angel eyes for a more bright output. The Halogens are quite dim but some people prefer that look.

You're right they never did.

We've been doing the Orion V2 more often now on the P46s since most people don't want to have the spotty look of the original DEPO (though CCFL is still quite popular).

What would be a perfect upgrade for the DEPO's Angel Eyes without any major modification? I know I can you the same housing just switch out the halogens with either leds or ccfls. Which brand would be the easiest?

At this time, the best we can offer is an upgrade for them without a full kit for $120. There is a reason we aren't discounting them, we are having a hard time stocking them given the positive feedback.
