DIY 02sim *OFFROAD USE ONLY*
Ok, took off my entire exhaust setup (Highline, cats)
and went back OEM but left my ebay headers. just couldn't take the noise anymore...I guess that comes with age. anyway becoming a member on the M3foum.com and not actually owning a M3...still I want one in the future. I came acoss a very useful tread about 02sim more than what I got from e46fanatics. sorry! ![]() so here is my DIY and I have to see the true outcome...but I have read on the M3 forum that everyone is passing emission and no SES. http://www.deadvenom.com/e46/e4602sim/02sim.html this is all me! but please remember *OFFROAD USE ONLY!* Props to mills84 on m3forum.net

the universal sensor with two white wires. "Universal o2 simulator dual output"
and the black box was purchased at radio shack to house the 02 sim unit. so far it's been 300 miles and no ses...more to come

getting the universal 02sim 4wires is based on the car make and the fact that you have 2 post 02 sensors
regardless if you're a V8

Great DIY! I made a PDF copy and attached it to the thread in case your hosting goes down (happens all to often), I hope you don't mind. I also added this DIY to the official collection thread.
Thanks, Tim

wow, is there a more simple way to do this, im not so great on my electrical skills, it seems sort of simple, but im not so hot with electronics. do u have to tap into wires up top or can you do it at the end where the o2 sensor is.
