iPod home speaker units

ok so i'm looking for a nice ipod speaker unit. i don't want to spend mega bucks but i want something decent. there are so many on the market now it's difficult to choose so i'm hoping you folks have some experience with them and which would you recommend. put it this way, i'm not forking out $400 on the bose speakers however nice they may be!

i know it's not exactly going to make your ears bleed but the quality should be ok. any ideas would be much appreciated.

I have the Logitech PureFi rechargable thin one for $150, ($100 at Sams) and it is quite decent for the size, price and with a battery.

Might not be of any use as it's just for the bedroom, but i've got a Kicker iK500 dock and its the best sound ive ever heard out of anything. Bit of a radical design however...

It's best feature is that it could probably break glass windows with the bass, the sound quality is perfect, and its not overpriced. I got mine for 200NZD, so thats probably like 100USD but I got mine through a friend..

He said he doesn't want to spend the money for Bose. I doubt he'd shell out $800 for a B&W Zeppelin.

Check out the Tivoli iSongbook. You can get it for ~$90 on eBay and I think it sounds pretty good for what it is.

I have heard many different docks and that one is by FARRRRRRRRRR the best. And yes, that little sub pounds
