replacing the factory amplifier
I am planning to upgrade my audio system ( I have a non N/K one). Any DIY suggestions on how to replace the factory amplifier? I want to hook it up with a Pioneer sub and Hertz or MBQ components.

Before you go tearing into things I would recommend replacing the speakers and listen to them using the factory amp. Between the power from the stock deck and amp I think you might be pleasently surprised with how it sounds just by adding some quality speakers. If you plan on replacing the stock Business CD then you will get even more power to the new speakers. Now as far as a sub goes, just tap your sub amp into the factory amp inputs (do a search on here for aftermarket sub with factory deck.) Also, you would get more help if you posted this in the ICE forum instead of general, just for future reference.

What brand of aftermarket speakers would you guys suggest? Perhaps a reasonable price would be better.
