Feeler for 17" 325ci 330ci wheel and NEW tire

I always thought that the wheels and tires go on the OUTSIDE of the car, so it can roll on top of the road. But apparently, some BMW engineer decided to put a FIFTH wheel and tire on the INSIDE of my car, under the trunk floor, and next to some kind of metal scissor lift thing?

I am considering selling this wheel and tire, since it seems like an awful waste of space.

I bought the 2001 330ci used, and it already had aftermarket rims and tires on, so if 330ci cars did not come with a full-size spare like this, then this is most likely one of the stock wheels with a new tire. The 17" wheel is in fair to good condition, and the Michelin Sport tire is in NEW condition. It looks like this:

This is NOT a picture of the ACTUAL rim and tire, only an example of the style. If interested, PM me with some kind of offer, contingent upon satisfactory condition and proper size for your intended use of course, and I will pull it out to get a real picture, along with tire size and date code.

I am just trying to deterirmine if selling this is worthwhile or not. If not, I will take it out anyway and tie it to a rope for use as a swing. Then, I will convert the unused hole in my trunk into a jacuzzi for cats and small dogs.

Yeah, I've thought about the possibility of one day needing this. If someone is interested in this wheel and tire enough though, I may be inclined to do without temporarily and just find a regular donut spare.

Will you pm me the details: wheel width, tire make, and model, and so on? I'm interested.
