glockman i have a favor please.
I have two pioneer plasmas 60" and 50" i would appreciate it if i could gett your input on what you think the setting should be tuned to. 1) Pioneer PDP-6020FD 2) Pioneer PDP-5020CMX Any help would be appreciated. TIA

Dumb question from a TV noob:
Your TV is much bigger (58" vs 47"). Could it simply be that larger TVs look a bit fuzzier than smaller ones? |

it all depends on the scaling and video systems used on the equipment and television. there are some combos that make component look better than hdmi.
in addition, component is about 150,000 times more reliable.

.. stores always turn on the motion smoothing feature on their 120hz lcd tv's and it does make a big difference... it makes the picture look very realistic...

it took a little growing on me but i really got used to the 120hz on the xbr6 and now it feels weird to watch tv without it
