what do these two wires connect to??!!! i have no clue

ok so i bought the hid headlights for my car recently with the built in halos and im positive that these two wires are for the halos but the directions that came with the kit said to connect them to the "vehicle position light of the car body harness" so what the heck does that mean?? im asuming its just a positive and a ground but the tech. that put them on tried that and all it did was make a buzzing noise. idk does somebdoy know what to do here? or where to connect the silver and black wire. heres a picture of them.

damn, i can't tell what it is lol. but the way you're describing them, it's the +/- wires for the angels. silver should be hot and black ground. usually they would go to a wiring harness, but it seems that you didn't get one. so just tap them to your fog lights
