Question Where to make this Aluminum piece?

I have a CAD file for this piece. Although a little hard to believe it is a Amp rack. I really want this piece made of aluminum but willing to settle for other metals like maybe stainless steel.

Do you know a place where this piece could be done. It is aprox 3ft long. As for thickness I would go with 1/2" or so.

Thanks.

Check your yellow pages for local metal fabricators. They should be able to do this in no time if they have the proper equipment.

Just a heads up that is going to be fairly expensive. I could cut it out of 3/8 stainless steel, I have a laser at my shop but that is the thickest it will cut... if you want it out of aluminum you will need to have it waterjet probably because most lasers don't cut aluminum all that well. But just material alone will probably be around 200 dollars, stainless price is about 1.50 a lbs and that would probably weigh 30-40 lbs plus the shop would have to buy a 4x4 sheet of material as well.

Thanks for the heads up. Being stainless steel, 3/8 thick would seem more than enough for my application. You work and /or own a shop for this sort of work?
Thanks

I would imagine you could go much thinner than 1/2 inch. Maybe do some relief work on it.
