D2S Bulb Fried?
I was trying to install my 6000k bulbs today w/out removing the whole unit and managed to not quite get the igniter all the way onto the bulb. I tried to test the light, in which case I think it started to arc. Is my bulb screwed now? I think I have to take out the assembly tomorrow to get them in there, but I'm wondering if I'm wasting my time and will have to put it all back together again w/the old bulbs.
Any comment's? besides me being a bonehead? |

hmmm, I just installed some 10k bulbs in my housing. I didn't take the assembly out or anything, it was pretty tough and a few times I thought it was screwed, I'm sure if you just install it right it will still work. Try installing it right and see if it works.

thx. I was surprised, the bulb worked fine even though it had a kind of cloudy look to it. Removing the assembly actually wasn't that bad after doing it once, the headlight washers and the deep inner bolt removal were the biggest pains.

Did you try swapping the bulb from one side to the other?
