im an xbr6 fanboy. i have a 40xbr6 and have yet to see an lcd this size that competes. i havent seen the xbr7 in person, but i hear good things. the picture on my xbr is incredibly bright and vivid, great response time, beautiful color/contrast ratio, and the sound is great for a tv. plenty of ports too, and the bravia link is kinda cool
look for a sony KDL52XBR6 or KDL52XBR7. imo, of course.
