|| Confusing Problem When Interfacing Through OBDII ||
So today I drove down to EAS, who continually amaze me in customer service
, and we tried to reflash my car's computer so that I could roll up the windows from the key.Tom, plugged his USA/Euro car programmer into my OBDII plug and was able to read a couple fault codes and clear those, but was not able to access my car's computer. An error came up for every type of interface he tried. For some reason my car's computer is not letting him in to change certain things, although it should let him in. The only I've changed recently is the installation of a Double Din head unit (AVIC F90bt) but I don't really see how that could be related. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated!!! TIA |

Did you try through the 20-pin underhood connector?
Also, if the 20-pin connector hood is missing or unscrewed, the OBD2 plug under the dash will not communicate with the ECU. |
