You can't get one if you have 328i. I personally would suggest the Intravee II set up - i'm sure there are problems with it or something because people still go for DICE but its much more functional in regards to the sat nav then the DICE unit is.

^ good watch if you're in the market

Oh but you'll have the MKII nav.. if you'd be willing to do a 16:9 MKIV retrofit (all you need is the actual unit, its just plug and play apart from the trip to the dealer to update to the latest software then you'll get full functionality (as well as all the benefits from the 16:9 nav). The MKII nav is the that would come stock in the 328, its half the unit is a 4:3 screen. The MKIV nav is the one in that youtube video.

Genuine BMW unit is very basic, no text display and you can just select from 5 playlists which must be have BMW1, BMW2 etc at the start of the name. You can then select next/prev track, that's it.

Intravee works with the Mk II or Mk III Nav, you'll get a display similar to this :

That's a MK III Nav in a Rover 75.

You won't get the scrolling list to select from, and the text length is limited to 14 chars per line but it's otherwise OK.
