New kidney grills COLOR DECISION!!!

Fixing to order a set of new grills for my 325Xi and can't decide to go matte black of spend the extra $55 and get them painted sapphire black. What do you guys think? Sorry for the bad picture I just ran outside and snapped one with my phone.

Well I have a store credit with modbargains so if I go Matte I'll only be out like $30.

Im thinking about doing the same thing today. My sedan is also black and i just finished painting the mesh in my Mtech II so its fresh. I was wondering for the kidneys if I should do sand, prime, paint, clear...... or no sand, bulldog adhesion promoter, prime, paint, clear? I am having a hell of a time trying to find that adhesion promoter. I tried Walmart, the local hardware store, and Napa. Any suggestions from previous experience?

Go with matte on a black car. I prefer the contrast of matte on black so you can see the grill. Here is matte on my 325i:

They're pretty straight forward on how to install though right. Just some clips under the hood??

You can remove the factory grill by prying off the chrome clips when you open the hood. The factory grill will come off in two pieces, pull the chrome part towards the front and the black inner part to the inside of the engine bay. The new grill will clip right into place by pushing it in from the front of the car.
