Jason does the following part number 51468223046 is this the complete kit with all parts listed?

I know you have to buy the switch for the console, would their be additional wiring that would need to be installed. I am considering at doing this retrofit since my car did not come with it. Can you provide information, thanks.

That part number, 51468223046, is just for the replacement shade unit by itself(for a vehicle that was equipped with that option from the factory) - it's not offered as a complete retrofit kit. I'm sure there would be additional parts needed in order to do this, but we don't have a parts list available from BMW. The only rear sunshade that's offered for the coupes is the manual-operation version:

I got manual rear sunshade, and rear side shades from Tisher. why bother with electric? manual shade install is much cleaner and takes all but a few seconds to pull down.

SNA77 did this. I think pictures are in his garage area of the forums.

They are on my to do list. The set costs about $80 to $90 at the dealership (BMW of Mt Kisco Dealership).

NOTE: Make sure they come with the mounting clips (and they should) because the replacement clips are sold in one big set for about $40 to $50.

Kris Linquist of Cali also put these on his ZHP sedan.
