Strange News

So i had to get new tires the other day and while the guys at discount tire were putting them on they told me that i have three wheels that are the same size and one that is different i have stock style 68 wheels which is supposed to be 17x7.5 and 17x8.5 if i'm not mistaken but i have three fronts and one rear. i never figured i needed to actually take them off to check the sizes or anything?? my question i guess is how bad is this for the car. i plan on getting new wheels soon but am i slowly damaging anything?? i'm sorta guessing no but i just wanted to get some advice i guess.

Thanks for any help

Have you checked your spare? Perhaps your rear had a blow out and the previous owner put the spare on and the actual 8.5" rear is in your trunk now.

Ditto. When I was ready to buy new tires a while back one of my wheels had pretty bad curb rash so I put it in the trunk as my spare and installed the spare wheel as one of my four new tires. Course all of my wheels were the same size.
