8 Months, 10 Vendors
some great advice, some good friends & a great wife have all played a part in helping me fix up my ride to it's current condition. I work offshore so I'm only home every other 2 weeks so all the work actually was done over 4 months and everytime I've been home something major is getting done. Once my mirrors are here & installed the only upgrades left to be done will be the M Tech II rear bumper & side skirts. I plan on using Tischer for those two items for fear of after market fitment issues and because I've heard good things about them. All in all I've had great experiences with all the vendors listed and because I'm offshore 2 weeks at a time, I'm not an impatient person when it comes to receiving my ordered items. So here's a big "THANKS!!!" to all the vendors and friends that have helped me so far.
F1 Autohaus - By far my favorite vendor and now every single bulb inside & outside of the car are from F1 Autohaus. Mike is also great for troubleshooting and advice since he always makes himself available. Angel Eyes Headlight Upgrade Complete LED Interior Lighting Corner Delete With LED Blinkers Front and Back Reverse LED's Foglight Upgrade JLevis SW - If you haven't dealt with Nick and you're needing advice on items they sell, you're missing out. Great advice , great service and great products. I love my wheels and I think the CF pillars was one of the best looking mods I've added to the car yet since the old pillars were faded black. Carbon Fiber Pillars Velocity Motoring CSL Wheels and General UHP Tires Bavarian Autosport - Honestly, I used Bav AS before I found out about everyone else. Their prices are high but somethings are worth it through them - Customer service probably gets a C+. Windshield Cowl Clear Parking, Side & Tail Lights Flat Black Grills Sun Shield Floor Mats Clear 3M Headlight Cover Protectors Clear 3M Hood Protector Mod Bargins - Two pretty major purchases through them and I was happy with the price & product. Shipping was very timely and customer service as far as PM's gets a B+. Bilstein Shocks & Struts w/ All New Mounting Hardware Turner Motor Sports Under Pulleys & Belts EAS - Only used them once with no issues. I would use them again. Carbon Fiber Badges Euro Dyne - Just got my splitters through Euro-Dyne and was impressed with Ray & Joe when it came to communication & customer service. BTW - I love my splitters! Carbon Fiber Splitters Bimmer Tools - Point Blank - Ken is the man when it comes to tools and advice. The Peake code reader has saved me a ton of cash and was an incredibly smart purchase. Peake Code Reader 2 BMW Paint Pens DTM Spec (Euro Spec) - Funny story, I ordered the M3 bumper and was shipped the M Tech II bumper instead. I wasn't happy at first but in the long run.....I'm really glad they screwed up the order. They could use a little help in the customer service dept. but I'd use them again. M Tech II Bumper With New Fog Lights Um Nitza - I just got my mirrors last week and had them painted the other day. Too bad they are the wrong mirrors! No problem though, they haven't been hard to deal with and said they'll get the right mirrors on the way. Despite what I've heard, they've been very friendly and easy to deal with......To be continued. M3 Sport Mirrors Pelican Parts - Superior customer service & my #1 vendor for parts. Anything to keep me from having to pay double at the dealership. Very fast shipping as an extra added bonus. Wiper Blades 3M Air Conditioning Filter Control Arms & Bushing Stewart Hi - Performance Water Pump Thermostat from Pelican Parts Belt Tensioner Expansion Tank Upper & Lower Radiator Hoses Radiator Hose Sensor Friends - Never hurts to have friends that like to upgrade every few months. It's also great to have friends that have been there done that when it comes to maintenance and advice. Josh (Tigerbait) & Travis (SPDU4IA or Mr. Art Car as many of you know him) have been my biggest help locally. AC Schnitzer Chrome Muffler Tips Eibach Sport Springs Maintenance, Paint & Upgrades 3M Vinyl Around Black Strips (Antique White), New Grommets & Clips Sanded, Primed & Painted Aluminum Strip On Windows (Flat Black) Brake Calipers Painted (Red) Hood & Roof Professionally Repainted Pin Stripe Removed 4 Point, Weighted Alignment Daytime Running Lights Turned Off Control Arms & Bushing Replaced Valve Cover & Valve Cover Gasket Replaced Spark Plugs Replaced Oil & Filter Changed New Vacuum Line Fuel Sending Unit Changed Fuel Pump Replaced Muffler Resonator Delete Cold Air Intake w/ Heat Shield Fuel Filter Changed So here is the car when I purchased it from a local Dr. who had just returned from Munich where he purchased the new one. The car was well taken care of with no major issues, a complete service record, and best of all, sold to me well below blue book value. ![]() ![]() And here is the car today. Once the mirrors get here they will be painted black to match the roof. Obviously I have much left to do but I couldn't be happier with the progress so far. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Still more to come..................

Pick up a set of the clear corners with the black boarders to complete your front end!

(That's only his last name). Glad you got good use out of it this winter. The best thing about winter being over is that now you don't have to worry about Laura heading out the door with an ice scraper. ![]() Quote:
