Has anyone pried off the HK grill on coupe/vert.

front door--trying to find out if mid or tweeter is toast. Thanks

The grill can be pried off however I believe you have to take the door panel off to do so, which negates the point of doing so. Just follow any of the many available guides to removing the door panel and then you can check your mid and tweeter enclosure.

Don't pry it off. Remove the door panel and access it from behind.

to remove the door, you need a t-20 torx bit.

3 screws under the arm rest
1 behind the small circular cap behind the interior door handle
1 behind the "air bag" badge you remove from the door panel.

Then it's just pop in push pins you have to pop out to pull the panel off.
