Quick Question?

I really, really want an E46 Coupe.. I love that car so so much. What was the first year that BMW produced the E46 coupe.. I thought it was '99, but i could be wrong.. maybe its 2000? Also, what's the cheapest model.. the 323ci right? There's also the 328ci, but its too expensive, right? I'm really thinking a 2000 323ci is going to be more fun than my '99 Jetta.

323ci was first produced as a MY2000. 328ci will be a little more expensive, but if you look around, you might be able to find a good deal! The best of luck finding your e46 coupe!

As you are in Canada the 320 is also made available. Still 6 cylinders, around 170hp. I believe they started making them in 2001. You can easily get a 2001 320 for the price of a 99 323. One catch..... they don't come in coupes.

Whats the deal with your "ride" being a 330xi?

you should really shop around. for some reason the 2000 323, 2000 328, 2001 325, and 2001 330 are all very close in price range used. you might be able to step up the model or model year without much increase in cost if you find a good deal.

oh... my ride was a 330xi, i was driving my parents car for a while.. now i bought a Jetta, i just forgot to change it.

I can vouch for the 00 328Ci being pimp. Little less power and some different styling features than the 330's... but other than that it's practically the same car. Differences include sivler headlights, silver bumper grill, and no GPS antenna on top (it's hidden in 330's)

323's are pretty weak but will cost you less... probably 3-4G's less... Your choice... I opted for the bigger engine and i'm glad.
