8.69 1/8 mile, how does this compare?

I went to the local 1/8 mile track last night with the wifes E46 M3 (completely stock). They weren't giving time slips, so I don't know my 60', mph, etc. I could only see the lights after I crossed the finish line. The M3 ran a best of 8.69, so I was curious how this compares to others that have ran their M3's. I ran an 8.89 1/8 mile in my old M Roadster (240hp), so this seems close, but maybe a little slow.

That seems to be right around where it should be. I made a best of 8.60 last year at a local 1/8 mile track.

My best is 10.612 for my '99 323i (E46)
for the 1/8th mile. I do want to say that the temps at the time I did this were 110F, with noticable humidity. It was super hot out (yes, even at 8 or 9PM).

So, 8.69 for your car sounds pretty good.
