how to get clown nose....???

I'm installing OEM alarm kit soon.
but I discovered that I don't have the LED clown nose under my rear-view mirror. Is it a must to have them? can I just get the clown nose and install on my stock mirror? where to get them? or I have to buy the new whole mirror?

I called circle bmw and they said I have to get the whole rear-view mirror which cost about $300 and I don't think I believe him that I can't just add a clown nose on my stock mirror.

Any ideas guys?

unless you retro fit a clown nose, you will have to buy it from the dealer.

and what is the p/n for the clown nose and the led light?

BMW won't sell you only the clown nose bulb...........

Don't certain M3's have the LED imbedded in the mirror, as oppossed to having a red "clown nose"? You should have some sort of LED in the mirror? If not I guess your SOL and need to buy one.

Yea mine had the clown nose and I didnt have the alarm. I had it put in later but didnt have it when I got the car.

I don't use mine. I'm willing to sell it if I can take it off and it doesn't affect anything, and looks ok. My alarm isn't connected to it.
