Yah I know, I think I'm in the wrong type of car I love the Bimmers looks and interior but I want a FI type engine that has good power like the 330 has but then I want that rush a turbo creates. As soon as the warrenty is out I'm sure my first purchase will be a turbo for this engine if ATP comes out with as great a kit as it looks.

I love the feel and sound of a turbo... nothing beats the blow off valve- my main reason for wanting a turbo instead of a super charger....

ever been next to a 18 wheeler truck and take off at the same time... the sound of the truck's turbo can be heard in the car.. I love that!! that's the closest I've got to having a turbo in my car

yeah, the whooooosh sound and pull when you get into the turbo is addictive...it's hard to stay off of it. As far as lag, you just get used to driving it and keeping revs up, there's nothing like it. So why am I trading mine friday for a 325??? But when the time comes, I'll be searching for a good turbo setup over a SC.

I love turbo power.
If you don't know how to modulate your engines power output then you'll have even bigger problems with a turbo. That doesn't mean it'll send you into a wall or the sand. The power a turbo creates IS very controllable and predictable once you've had your car for a while. You'll learn where and when the boost comes on and how strong.

I too like the sound of the good old BOV. There is a downside however... Putting in a BOV will cause the car ECU (computer) to be unable to properly manage fuel mixtures because All of the air which coud be rerouted back through the intake is just blown out of the engine completely. As such, your performance will decrease (as compared to stock). You are better siuted going for a Bypass Valve (BPV.) This will keep you from losing any of that extra air, and retains the boost level through the whole time your foot is on the gas pedal.

Same here, I would trade in my car for another car like an Evo or STi but that would be disrespectful to my parents who bought this car for me just over a year ago.
